We created The Boat Life to share our passion with family, friends, and the amazing people we get to meet out on the water.

Based in Puerto Rico – where boating is woven into our culture and identity.

My name is Wilfredo Vega. I’ve been on and around boats since I was born, and my passion for boating has only grown ever since. Before I could drive a car, I was behind the helm of my dad’s 1974 20ft Mako. Today, not only do I enjoy boating off the east coast of Puerto Rico, I design boats for a living. Boating isn’t a hobby for me. It’s a lifestyle. It’s a language. It’s art and engineering. It’s freedom.

My name is Christian E. Aguayo. When I met Wilfredo, I wasn’t really into boating. I just went along for the ride. After a few years, his passion proved to be contagious. Now, we share the same passion and there isn't a single day that passes without us talking boats. The feeling of being out on the water exploring a new piece of paradise every outing, with family and friends, is unbeatable.
